THE CELIA STUDY

The CELIA study is a novel treatment for Alzheimer’s disease, where the sponsor was studying tau tangles that may be contributing to the disease. The theme of “untangling” the web of this disease served as the visual inspiration for this study. After creating a custom brain illustration, we used CGI to render it to looks like a tangle of 3D yarn.

Materials took on a minimalist and clean visual style so patients could easily navigate them. Finally, a custom logo was also created in the same theme of navigation. A quick read lets the viewer know this study involves the brain, but a closer look reveals the visual of a maze with a mappable path through.
