THE GREAT DUMBO DROP

In an effort to raise money for two public schools in the area, the DUMBO Improvement District threw a block party on historic Washington Street. In the event called “The Great Dumbo Drop”, thousands of toy elephants were parachuted off nearby roofs as part of a raffle. This created an incredible spectacle in one of the most scenic areas of Brooklyn.

We created a visual identity to promote and organize the event. Using whimsical typography and aerial elephant illustrations, we designed collateral like promotional posters, event signage and t-shirts. We even developed the elephants’ parachutes! Leading up the event we worked on social media promotion, as wells as pitch deck for potential sponsors.
